Proper Enthusiasm

A quote from a customer's phone message:
"Oh my god, I love my ring, I love my ring, I love my ring!
It is beautiful, I can't stop looking at it!
Thank you so so so so much. Oh my god!
I absolutely love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I love you, and I love my ring! Goodbye."

Beautiful Gem Stones

One image that frequently occurs in my work is our friend Lance, the cardinal. He has lived in the same tree at our house for years and rules vigilantly as yard boss.

Beautiful Gem Stones

I purchased these opals from an Australian father and son team, selling stones from their family mine. They are deep blue and set in brushed gold, really makes a statement.

Beautiful Gem Stones

This is the prettiest green tourmaline I've ever seen and I knew black diamonds and oxidized chain would enhance it's depth of color. The gradation of color is so delicate and at the same time so intense. I designed the setting to duplicate those intricacies.

Beautiful Gem Stones

These opals are amazing, I wanted to put them all together in one piece. I bought all my gem dealer had.

Custom Work

One of my favorite things is working with my clients on custom orders. I love creating a unique piece that is just perfect for their special occasion. My latest newly wed received an emerald and 18 karat gold ring as stunning and non-traditional as the beautiful bride herself. A future of happiness to you, Mrs. Macdonnell.

Spring Colors

Spring is perfect this year. I love how colorful it is. There are fields beside Highway 385 that are solid purple. The red buds popped out today in Somerville, and my coral bell azalea's have blooms. I'm making bright spring colored earrings this week with extra large locking ear wires. Pink, yellow, violet and green.

New Bird Necklaces

These are models wearing different versions of my new necklace design. They were debuted at my summer show at Mona Lisa. The birds are sterling silver with a brushed finish mounted on sterling silver chains. I love how many different looks I can create using the same image. I was really able to convey the motion of flight. With this line I am continuing to develop pieces expanding on this idea.
